Heatstar were one of the first manufacturers to recognise the benefit of including inverter fan technology within the Dehumidification process. They introduced the 'EC' fans a few years ago. Ultra efficient inverter fans can save thousands of pounds off your pool hall running cost.
Centred upon a dehumidifying heat pump and utilising the latest ‘Blue-EC’ ultra efficient intelligent digital inverter fan technology, the Andromeda EC offers an assured solution for both effective and efficient environmental control for residential indoor swimming pools.
The Andromeda EC unit is designed to remove moisture from the air via a heat pump which also recovers the Sensible Energy (Dry Heat) and the Energy Rich Lantent Energy (Warm Moist Air). This recovered heat is automatically put back to the air or water. Priority is to the air, once that is satisfied the recovered heat then goes back to the pool water.
The unit also has a fully digital control panel that clearly displays the Water Temperature, The Air Temprature, and The Relative Humidity. Along with a series of fault lights and indicator lights.
The Andromeda can be manufactured in a wide variety of configurations to suit most plantroom situations and spaces. The fresh air ducts on the 1000-3000 are fairly small which makes running these ducts very easy.
Available on all most Heatstar Environmental Control Units will be oversized heat exchanges suitable for use with renewable heat sources. This offers even greater flexibilty which is becoming very important to more and more customers. It is possible to connect Heatstar Andromeda EC to Air Source Heat Pumps and Ground Source Heat Pumps. One very important fact to remember, every Heatstar Unit is built specifically for a customer. That is to say one Andromeda 1000 may have a differant sized water heat exchange to another Andromeda 1000. The same is true of the air heating. This means pricing can only be accurately supplied once specification is complete. Our web prices are guide prices for all Heatstar units and will differ slightly. Calorex make the Variheat three to cover a range pool and pool hall sizes. Heatstar make specifically for your project.
The specification process is really simple and generally only takes a day or two. Fill in the dehum questionaire from the resources tab. This information needs to be accurate. Alternatively email us the project drawings and we can fill in the form on your behalf. The form will be run through the latest computer modeling software, where upon a number of Heatstar units will be recomended. We will them call you up or email you a full explaination of the advantages and disadvantages of each system. We try to explain in every day languge that everyone can understand. We will not blind you with science unless you ask us too!
If you wish to proceed we take a deposit and instruct Heatsar to start building and testing the unit. This can take bewteen 3 and 6 weeks depending on the time of year.
Heatstar offer a free commissioning visit with every unit, this is normally after a couple of weeks of the unit being fully opertational.
